DO MORE WITH TIME CODES PRODUCTIVE UTILIZATION & EXCLUDING LEAVE TIME FROM UTILIZATION
Not all billable time is equal. Sometimes a non-billable activity can actually be very important and should contribute to an individual’s utilization. An example can be found in Presales, which usually is a non-billable activity, but actually is really important as it contributes to sales.
Now, when using Time Codes, you can define which of them should count towards productive hours on Utilization. Also, now you create a special Time Code for your Annual Leave projects that will exclude the Leave hours from the Available Hours calculation in your Utilization reports.
SEARCH FOR RESOURCES CLOSEST TO YOUR PROJECT SITE
PROXIMITY SEARCH
When your teams are dispersed across the country (or even the globe) and your projects require some travel, the distance between the project team and your customer can have a huge impact not only on the travel costs but also on the success of your project plus your team’s work-life balance. With Proximity Search, you can easily find out which of your employees is closest to the project site. When you look for your project team using the assignment mode on Precursive Plan, now you can define what distance the person should be from the project. Precursive will automatically search for people within that distance. This filter checks the direct distance but you might want to also check the map and what would be the driving distance between the resource and the project phase.
SET UP YOUR ORGANISATION WITH EASE
NEW HQ
We’re constantly improving our Precursive HQ to let you set up your organization with ease.
In this release, we have added new tiles for Email Reminders and Time Codes configuration, improved the way you set up the Colours Configuration and added a new action for the Critical Upgrades step!
PROJECT EXPENSES
We’ve added a new setting defining what expenses’ statuses should be included in the Expenses Costs and Revenue calculations. By default, it includes Submitted and Approved expenses.
ORGANIZE YOUR WORK
WORK BREAKDOWN STRUCTURE
In any kind of planning, understanding what needs to be done and when is crucial. When it comes to more complex projects it becomes very difficult to organize the work in an efficient way. It often happens that some pieces of work are falling behind or are being missed.
Work Breakdown Structure can help you organize the tasks in a more granular way so that is easier for your team to manage but also it could help them to reduce the risks that something will go wrong.
Following on from our theme of Powerful Project management, which aims to provide powerful solutions for managing larger and more complex projects, we’ve introduced a new way of managing your tasks and dividing them into smaller chunks of work.
TRACK YOUR MILESTONE PROGRESS
MILESTONE TIMELINE COMPONENT
Milestones and the ability to track critical events are really useful. Having these all collated together in the form of a timeline will help you and your team track and, more importantly, act to keep them on track and schedule. Thanks to the Milestone Timeline Component that expands the project’s overview you won’t miss any important deadline anymore because of the lack of awareness and visibility.
COLLABORATE PROACTIVELY WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS
CUSTOMER WORKSPACE
Throughout a project, making sure that all stakeholders are on the same page with the expected outcome, with what needs to happen and when, is really key. This can help you avoid massive problems either with your customer’s engagement in adopting your solution or with recognizing the value you have provided them.
Our Customer Workspace is the place where you can proactively collaborate with your customers:
Invite them to your workspace
Let them see their tasks
View the progress of the project
Share files
Communicate through Salesforce Chatter.
The Customer Workspace helps to build trust, a common understanding and keeps your customer engaged.
CONTACT NOTIFICATIONS
Contact Roles Notifications are extremely helpful as they will allow you to notify your customer when a task has been assigned to them, ready to be taken or completed. Thanks to that, you are not only feeding your customers with up-to-date information but, most importantly, it is happening seamlessly so you don’t have to inform them that certain work is completed by sending an additional email or getting on a call. It means, no more status/report meetings just to get your customer up to speed.
